Screens have gained importance in horticulture, also due to the emergence of new cultivation. As a result, screen installations are used more intensively. Steel pull wires are loaded more frequently to open and close the screen. Wear therefore occurs earlier, especially if the tensile wire is wound directly on the shaft. Is there a solution to prevent premature failure? Yes there is: the D2S divisible tension sleeve, an improvement on existing divisible tension sleeves. An innovative development from our own Alumat Zeeman production facilities.
